At the Psychiatric Residence Mellangården, we support young adults in creating a meaningful and independent life situation.

We are now looking for housing pedagogues who want to be an active and driving part of our residents' rehabilitation process. With us, you will work in an established organization with clear structure, strong values, and a genuine commitment to people.

Your role

As a housing pedagogue, you have overall responsibility for the resident's housing rehabilitation. You lead and drive the process from moving in to completion through case management and individual implementation plans, focusing on participation and increased independence. You work closely with the residents and provide professional support to strengthen their resources and ability to manage their daily lives. Structure, routines, and relationship-building are important parts of the assignment.

Your role also includes:

• Contact and collaboration with social services, healthcare, authorities, and relatives
• Social documentation and other administrative tasks
• Motivational conversations and a low-arousal approach
• Working according to methods such as trauma-informed care (TMO), MI, and other evidence-based practices
• Active participation in the organization's quality and development work

You work closely with your colleagues and contribute to shared routines, division of labor, and good reporting.

You take initiative, are solution-focused, and have the ability to motivate others even when change takes time. You are calm in your interactions, enjoy working closely with people with extensive support needs, and contribute to good collaboration. Education as a housing pedagogue, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other equivalent education

Experience in social work and working with individuals with mental and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities

Experience in housing services is an advantage

Good experience in social documentation (journal notes, contact with social services, etc.)

Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing

Bräcke Psychiatric Residence Mellangården

Mellangården is a well-established psychiatric residence with short-term placements for young adults aged 18–35 with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities. The organization has staffing around the clock, a total of 16 places, and is drug-free. Our goal is to support residents towards a more meaningful and independent life situation through structure, participation, and individually tailored housing rehabilitation.
